Completed graduation and post graduation from Osmania university. Research work was done in IICT Hyderabad. After the award of the Ph.D, joined Dr.Reddys Laboratories Limited as an API process research R&D scientist. After 5+ years of industrial experience joined in NIPER as an Assistant Professor in Process Chemistry.

Research area was synthesis of biologically active molecules. Worked on the total synthesis of Cyclamenol-A an anti inflammatory agent isolated from streptomyces species. It is a polyene macrolactum with seven double bonds of which only one is cis and the rest are trans double bonds. Also worked on the development of some novel methodologies using Yb(OTf)3 , montmorillonite clay etc.
