I have completed my PhD in the area of “Design of novel small molecules against hSIRT1 targeting cancer and obesity” in 2013 under supervision of Dr.D.Sriram from BITS-Hyderabad and M.Pharm from BITS-Pilani, Rajasthan in 2006. I worked as a Research Associate at Institute of Life sciences, UOH, Hyderabad from 2007-2010 in structure guided drug design. I worked as a Teaching assistant for Computer Aided Drug Design and Advanced Pharmacology at BITS-Pilani, Hyderabad.

Using computational methods to predict the structure and function of protein of interest and analysis of related proteins of known sequences, structures and function for the predictions. Also interested in protein sequence-structure relatedness at the level of structural motifs in proteins. My area of research involves design of novel molecules of desired function based on natural systems. Further, I am interested in exploring the biological and chemical space in molecular complexes for designing potential inhibitors/activators for validated therapeutic targets in human disease.
